CK45 steel can be formed by hot rolling and forging, usually supplied untreated or normalized. By further heat treatment (such as quenching and tempering), the comprehensive properties of C45 steel can be improved. Universal carbon steel is delivered in rolled condition. It can be further heat treated to achieve specific mechanical properties. The carbon content is 0.45%, which is not conducive to welding. However, welding can be subjected to appropriate heat treatment before and after welding. The surface hardness is 57~62hrc, and the casting hardening depth is about 1mm. Used for most medium strength transmission and motor components. Surface hardened components, such as camshafts, gears, rocker arms, etc. Simple manual tools and various fasteners and fixtures, medium stress mechanical components.
