Square rectangular pipe is a term for square and rectangular pipes, which refers to steel pipes with equal or unequal side lengths. It is made by rolling steel strip through process treatment. Usually, the strip steel is unpacked, leveled, curled, and welded to form a circular tube, which is then rolled into a square tube and cut into the required length.
Generally, production is carried out using the technical standard process of the national standard GB/T6728-2002. This standard specifies the scope, classification, code, technical requirements, dimensions, shape, weight, allowable deviation, and marking of cold-formed hollow steel. Welded rectangular tubes are widely used in mechanical equipment, shipbuilding industry, automotive industry, offshore operation equipment, road and bridge construction, special industries, etc.
