C45 carbon steel is a type of medium carbon high-quality steel with high strength. Due to poor hardenability, it is generally used in a normalized state. When high mechanical properties are required, quenching and tempering treatment is used. The cold deformation plasticity is moderate, and the rough cutting workability of the first beam after annealing and normalizing is better than that of quenched and tempered.
